Jointer Setup Tips

To Flatten the infeed & outfeed, raise edge of infeed to height of outfeed table

Use a straight edge to see if outside egdges are in the same plane. Adjust gibs as needed.

Note TDC mark on Bearing Housing, blade at TDC, magnets lift blade to outfeed plane & hold it coplanar, infeed table raised up to touch wrench (assists in holding cutter head steady)

This type of magnet stays out of way of wrench!

Zero the infeed to outfeed, then set jointers scale

sqribble all over the face before jointing

All scribbles gone tells the story!
