Make a Thick Throat Plate with Integrated Splitter

Counter sink with 3/4" forstner bit, 1/4" depth	Use a straight edge to align the splitter even with the kerf of the blade
Screw the holder down tight	The splitter quickly removes when needed
The red line is a reminder to not raise the blade any higher
